East Grinstead Hockey Club was delighted to have the opportunity to host the England Hockey South East Hockey Festival this past week

Schools from all over the region took part in a 7-aside tournament set up by England Hockey, and organised by East Grinstead.

It was incredible to see so many students take to the pitch with great enthusiasm, with plenty of excellent hockey skills on show.

The tournament was played with fantastic team spirit and sportsmanship by all.

Girls Winners: Salesian School

Boys Winners: Sackville School

Over the last 12 months EGHC has been working hard, with the local community on implementing a new state school outreach program, that is focused on growing the sport and providing premier league coaches that work with local schools, and it was fantastic to see that in action at the tournament.

- Junior Summer League, Training & Tournaments: £125 per player
