Today we bid farewell to Biba as she heads to the Netherlands to begin the next chapter of her hockey journey.
After an incredible career at East Grinstead Hockey Club, her home club since the age of four and a club deeply rooted in her family's history, the time has come to wish Biba good luck on the next stage of her hockey journey. Having made her Premier League debut at just 15 years old, Biba is now embarking on an exciting new adventure with Rotterdam, where she will compete in the world-renowned Hoofdklasse – widely regarded as one of the strongest hockey leagues in the world.
Biba's progression over the past few years has been nothing short of remarkable. At just 18 years of age, she has already built an extraordinary list of achievements.
Having spent three seasons representing East Grinstead in both the Outdoor and Indoor Premier Leagues, Biba made an immediate impact. In her debut Premier League season at just 15 years old, she played 10 matches and scored eight goals, including one at the Euro Hockey League (EHL) in March 2024, making her the youngest goalscorer in EHL history.
2024/25 Season
In her second Premier League season, Biba finished as the league's top goalscorer with 20 goals.
She also topped the scoring charts in the Super 6s Indoor League with 24 goals, helping East Grinstead secure a second consecutive league title.
In February 2025, EG travelled to Porto for the Indoor EuroHockey Trophy, where they were crowned champions. Biba finished as the tournament's top scorer in Europe with 13 goals, helping secure promotion to the top-tier EuroHockey Indoor Championship.
Summer 2025
Representing England Under-18s at the European Championships, Biba once again finished as the tournament's top scorer, finding the net nine times.
2025/26 Season
In her third Premier League campaign, Biba finished second in the league's scoring charts with 16 goals. Unfortunately, EG narrowly missed out on Finals Weekend, denying her the opportunity to add to that tally.
During the indoor season, Biba was once again the league's leading goalscorer, scoring 29 goals across the qualifiers and Finals Night.
East Grinstead then travelled to Poznań for the EuroHockey Indoor Club Championship, where the team secured a historic bronze medal—the club's first at this level for 27 years. Biba produced one of the standout performances of the tournament, scoring five goals in the bronze medal match against Germany's Mannheim.
She finished second in the tournament's overall scoring charts with 12 goals, just one behind the Belgian captain, who was ten years her senior. Across the 2025/26 season alone, Biba scored an incredible 41 goals, taking her total to well over 100 Premier League goals across indoor and outdoor hockey in just three seasons.
