Its been a busy summer for EG Ladies as they welcomed a number of new players from across the country and even further afield. Click through to find out more...
With a new coaching setup, a new Manager and a new Captain, its all-change for EG's Ladies 1st Team squad. Bridget Blackwood and Gilly Smith, supported by Theo Dowse have an exciting group of new signings to play alongside Captain Guadalupe Lacort. All have international experience and all bring winning experiences with them.
The team is in action this weekend at the Y1 Championships in Surbiton.
Amy Thompson
Amy returns to EG after completing her studies at University of Nottingham. She was a member of the 2021/2022 EG Indoor Squad which won the Indoor Super6s at the Copper Box in early 2022, and she also finished her University career as a BUCS Champion.
Pippa Lock
Pippa returns to EG having completed her degree at University of Birmingham. Pippa played for England in the Pro League against the United States earlier in 2022.
Mollie Mason
Mollie joins EG from Nottingham University, and represented GBU21 in the World Cup earlier in 2022, securing a Bronze Medal..
Sally Sime
Sally is the third of a triumvirate of signings from Nottingham University and joins EG having successfully completed her studies.
Charlotte Daly
Charlotte is a graduate of Loughborough University and joins EG following a spell with Surbiton where she was part of the title winning squad last season.
Kayla Reed
Kayla joins East Grinstead from New Zealand and is a graduate of Michigan Universit, where she played alongside EG Captain Guadelupe Lacort..
Carlota Rodriguez
Carlota joins EG from Spain, having just won the Spanish title with Complutense.
