Hansfords Menswear was established in 1908 and operates both online and out of a retail location in Chichester.  Matthew Hansford writes:

It's a distant memory now but I used to be a globetrotting sportsman, playing and teaching squash and cricket all around the world. I returned home when my father wanted to retire and, I have to admit, it was with some trepidation that I became involved with the shop. However, as the years have passed I realise that it was, in fact, the best decision I ever made!

It's great meeting customers both old and new and I have made some lifelong friendships. I love building relationships with suppliers and relish the challenge of finding the best possible products at the best possible price – the fact that they come mainly from the UK and Europe makes it even better! I am immensely proud of all my staff and enjoy the friendly and relaxed ambiance in the shop. I also feel hugely privileged to be able to run the charity Extra Cover supporting some of Sri Lanka's poorest school children.

I never thought that running a menswear shop (and still managing to play some sport!) would be so fulfilling and rewarding – but then Hansfords isn't just any menswear shop – come and see what makes us unique.
