Two former EG girls will play in today's BUCS Final !

Today is BUCS Finals Day, and in the Women's Hockey event, former EG girls Pippa Lock and Amy Thompson will represnt Birmingham University and Nottingham University respectively.  Click through to read more and learn how to watch live... 

BUCS is "British Universities and Colleges Sport".  Each sport runs a national competition each year to determine the BUCS champion, and hockey is one of the sports included.  BUCS hockey has always been a hotly contested competition, running throughout the season on Wednesdays.  Over the years, several Universities have dominated proceedings; Loughborough, Birmingham, Nottingham, Exeter, Durham in particular.  Our Men's 1st Team Captain - Simon Faulkner - is ex-Loughborough, and Women's 1st Team Captain - Sophie Bray is ex-Birmingham.
