News & Notes…
The offseason finally came to an end for the Vets, as the defending league champions hosted last years runners up, Old Georgians, in a brunch date at Worth School. Mikey Holland started where he left off with a pair of goals, leading the way to a 4-2 victory.
Not so much of a pleasant return to action for the Saints, also facing league runners up from last season - Old Cranleighans. Credit at least on 2 fronts; consistency - an even 5 goals conceded each half, and a caring attitude in ensuring their keeper stayed warm in the face of driving rain...
Facing a 1-2 deficit late on, the Ladies 2's fought back to a 3-2 victory, with Autumn Bowden completing her hat-trick with a late winner.
Less respectful of the feelings of their custodians, the Men's 3's and 4's both reeled off impressive victories against Worthing teams. Fynn Jones hit 4 for the 3's in their 8-0 win, whilst Hamish Cunningham was even more dominant with 6 of the 4's 7 goals. I'm not sure if that counts as one hat-trick or 2...
Elsewhere, the Bluebirds notched their 1st win, the Badgers won their third straight to remain undefeated, alongside both the Ladies 2's and 3's, and the Men's 2's.

Match report;
It was another good win for the 4's after a shaky start. Boosted by last weeks 8-1 victory over Crawley. We managed a 7-0 victory over Worthing 6's today. A very strong team performance with good passing and moving. Hamish Cunningham scoring 6 of them! The other scored by Crems. Up to third in the league.
