Beginning on Friday February 9th, the EuroHockey Indoor Championships II has been running in Galway.  Our amazing Women's Indoor Captain Chloe Brown has been involved and has so far scored four goals.

On Friday at 13:00, Ireland secured a 7:2 victory against Sweden, with Chloe scoring twice from a field goal and a penalty corner.  Ireland followed that up with a 5:1 win against Croatia in which Chloe scored another penalty corner.

Saturday continued the trend with a 9:1 win against Portugal.  Again Chloe secured a penalty corner, opening Irelands account in the 4th minute.  Saturday afternoon was a different affair with a 5:5 draw agains Slovakia.  In a match that saw Slovakia pick up two yellow cards and two green cards, and Ireland pick up two greens, there was drama in the final 60 seconds in which BOTH sides scored.

Ireland go into Sunday and the final matches just two points behind table current leaders Lithuania who they play at 11:30 on Sunday morning.  You can follow the action LIVE via the FIH Altius page:
