Josh began his hockey journey at the begging of secondary school. He would go on to play for Whitgift in numerous competitions and national finals, winning several indoor and outdoor titles along the way. During this time Josh also played within the junior teams at Wimbeldon hockey club, which would eventually see his progression through to the men’s 1st X1 and his debut in the premier league at 17.

During his time at school he also played within both the u16 and u18 England squads, representing his country in test matches and tournaments across Europe. In his final year, February 2019 he would move into the GB EDP squad and represent the England U21’s team in the Europeans where they would go on to place 2nd.

Josh continued to play in the EDP attending the Sultan of Johor Cup, whilst also playing for the University of Nottingham where he has studied for the last 4 years. In this time he played for several of their 1st X1 teams. During, the club would progress into the premier league for last season after winning the conference league, as-well as winning BUCS gold in their final year.
Josh moves back down to London joining the East Grinstead family looking forward to the new and exciting season ahead, whilst starting this next chapter ahead.
