Massive congratulations from all of us at East Grinstead Hockey Club to the GB Girls' Hockey team on securing Bronze in defense of their Rio 2016 title. 

GB went 2-0 up in the 2nd quarter thanks to a goal from our very own Ellie Rayer and another from Sarah Robertson, India came back with three unanswered goals all in the same quarter, leaving India 3-2 up at half time. 5 minutes into the second half captain Hollie Pearne-Webb put GB back level at 3-3. GB then took the lead in the final quarter, ending the game 4-3 and securing another medal for Team GB. 

A huge contratulations from everyone back home and we look forward to welcoming back, Laura Unsworth (tripple Olympic medalist), Ellie Rayer and Amy Costello.

 JOIN OUR FINAL SUMMER CAMP

If you are aged between 6-18, join our final Summer Hockey Camp on the 10th & 11th  August. Run by Jackson 7 Coaching, brothers Ashley (triple Olympian, all time leading GB & England goalscorer) and Wesley (English Premier League) Jackson and their amazing coaching team make the days fun and competitive for beginners through to performance players. After the overwhelming success of the launch of our partnership with Jackson 7 Coaching, we are bringing more camps to you, this time during May Half Term. The camps will run on both Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd June 2021. Alongside the Tuesday camp we will also be running a Goalkeeper specific camp with EG #1 and Scottish International Goalkeeper Sam Lloyd.

You can purchase a single day or both days. Goalkeepers are welcome to attend both days. The days will run from 9.30am-3:30pm. Limited availability so please be quick to avoid disappointment.

We are joining the Meridian Sports Show and Run for Heroes 5K May initiative to support the QVH Charity. With all the work our NHS Staff have been putting in over the past year in particular, what a fitting time to get behind the QVH and support our local hospital.

Participate in a 5k during May and donate £5 to our local hospital charity QVH Charity!

How to take part?

1. Anytime between 1st - 31st May, participate in a 5k (run, roll, walk, cycle, hop, socially distanced of course!)

2. Donate £5 to our charity here Run for Heroes (justgiving.com)

3. Nominate 5 of your friends to take part too, remembering to tag us [twitter @qvhcharity Instagram: @qvhcharity] so we can share!

4. Once you've donated £5 you'll unlock a goodie bag packed full of rewards and treats from some epic brands!

East Grinstead Men's and Ladies 1st XI will be taking on Beeston and University of Birmingham respectively on Saturday 24th October 2020. The matches will be LIVE streamed on our YouTube channel. Watch both Premier League matches from the comfort of your own home starting at 1pm.
