Finally, get to know our squad and please wish them lots of luck.  We'll be posting links and reminders on Facebook and Twitter as the match time approaches so you can link to the live stream.  Fingers crossed for our girls who will be representing 1

2 Amy Tennant (GK) A lively Northern lass who brings her own sense of humour to the group. Amy has just returned from the CWGs and will be keen to keep the opposition out in EGs quest for European hockey.
4 Pippa Chapman Our resident South African; Pip brings experience, 3D skills, heaps of talent, amazing singing ability and a plethora of non-sequiturs to the squad.
5 Alexandra MalzerThe 'baby' of the squad who may follow in Bray's footsteps as the 'baby faced assassin #2' Malzer is a player to watch with a very bright future.
6 Bridget BlackwoodThe first of our Kiwis – Bridget brings experience, skill and determination to the group. We know she loves playing in Europe so let's make sure this is the year!
8 Pippa LockLockie – now not the baby having a year's experience under her belt. She is a very intelligent and thoughtful player who has made a huge impact with her turn of speed and dynamism. Another of our youngsters to watch !
9 Zoe BurrellZoe BurrellOne of the most accomplished players in our squad; she can and does play anywhere on the pitch. Zoe brings professionalism and constant high performance wherever she is asked to play.
10 Laura UnsworthThe EG 'Princess' who is never without her designer bag has brought both class and stability to our squad. Her vast experience is invaluable and she is a huge motivator within the group – she's not bad at hockey either !
12 Bara KavanovaBara is our resident Eastern European who brings positivity, enthusiasm and a massive aerial to the team but beware as they can occasionally surprise you.
13 Georgie BlackwoodKiwi #2 Georgie brings energy and a superb reverse strike to our game. She works tirelessly and shows a steely determination in front of goal.
14 Ruth Gordon (CAPTAIN)What a leader and inspiration – Ruth-less leads by example; she is the engine of the team, has true Northern grit and very tight skills. Despite a very dodgy shoulder, Ruth gives her all in every game and deserves to lead us to victory.
15 Maud van der KampOur own Dutch connection; Maud has brought a wealth of experience from the Hoofdklasse to EG. Her tackles, organisational ability and distribution from the back have been immense.
16 Chloe PalmerChloe joined us at Christmas and has proved to be a rock in defence and a real danger at attacking short corners. Chloe has fitted in well with the squad and her knowledge of the game is extremely beneficial to the development of our game.
18 Josephine BluntAn EG girl through and through, Jojo is a passionate and determined player. She hits a ball 'like a train' and we are looking forward to seeing her perform at play offs.
20 Ashlie SamraAsh joined us for indoor and stayed (after a little persuasion!). She is a very talented player with some super, silky skills. Ash with Unsy is one of our Midland contingent!
21 Ellie RayerThe 'flying flea' is our young speedster who shows us how to run quickly with a stick in hand! Ellie brings energy to our squad and has really bought into the EG family this year.
Amy ThompsonThommo is another of our youngsters who has some extraordinary skills. She has been with us a season and we have seen her confidence develop and her abilities on the pitch grow. Another one to watch.
Natasha BrennanTash would give Ellie a race any day!! Tash has speed, skills, determination and a lethal forehand shot. She is our Penalty stroke taker and brings vast experience to our squad.
Millie Regan (GK)Nicknamed 'Mildred' Millie is our England Under 18 keeper who has grown in stature and ability over the year. She has kept goal on many occasions for us and as well as being a great young keeper she is an asset to our squad.
