Dear Grinner Reader,

Welcome to the first Grinner of the 2011/12 season.

The Men's 1st XI maintained their place at the top of the National Premier League with a 6-1 win over visitors Bowdon on Sunday; goals from Ashley Jackson (2), Andy Piper (2), Danny Hall and Darren Cheesman.

The Ladies 1st XI under new coach Mary Booth, remain in second place just two points behind the leaders in the South Clubs' Women's League Division following a 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove. Goalscorers Tabitha Worsley, Emily Hobbs, Helen Prinsloo and Eleanor Keefe.

Junior News - the U18 boys beat Canterbury 6-4 in the EH Cup and will now play Horsham away on 27th November

Darren Cheesman leads a Masterclass coaching session on Sunday

EHL KO16 2012 - EG will play CA Montrouge of France on Friday 5th or Saturday 6th April 2012. The winners of this match will play hosts HC Rotterdam or HTC Uhlenhorst Mulheim.  The full playing schedule will be announced in early December.
